After 56 years of its inception, Tunku Kurshiah College (TKC) stands tall in the forefront among residential schools in Malaysia. This has been further strengthened by a determination to achieve excellence. In the year 2000, TKC was chosen as one of the schools to participate in the Malaysia Smart Schools flagship application of the Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC).
